EUFORES 11th Inter-Parliamentary Meeting on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
"100 parliamentarians for a high renewables and a high energy efficiency Europe!"
EUFORES' 11th Inter-Parliamentary Meeting took place on Friday, 30th September and Saturday 1st October 2011 in the Parliament of Sweden, Stockholm.
While on the first day the discussion focused on renewable energy with panels on financing and Europe's 2020 goals as well as regional discussion roundtables, Saturday morning accommodated a session on energy efficiency.
On Friday night, we invited our delegates to join us for a Gala Dinner in the famous Vasa Museum. On Saturday afternoon, the session in the Parliament was followed by a site-visit to the Igelsta co-generation biomass plant just outside of Stockholm before ending the IPM with a boat cruise through the Stockholm Archipelago and a dinner at the waterside in the north of Stockholm.
