EUFORES organises a variety of events inside and outside of the European Parliament. In this way EUFORES offers different groups of stakeholders in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector the chance to exchange view and transfer knowledge.
Most prominently, EUFORES each year organises a big Inter-Parliamentary Meeting (IPM) in a European national parliament. At these high-level conferences, parliamentarians as well as other stakeholders from the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector have the chance to discuss the issues at hand.
During the European Parliament plenary weeks in Strasbourg, EUFORES organises the MEP Breakfast Roundtables – a regular meeting of the EUFORES MEP-Group. On these occasions, the MEPs have the opportunity to discuss relevant legislation.
In the "Renewables go big" Dinner Debates, EUFORES regularly invites MEPs, European Commission and government officials, RES-industry representatives and other selected stakeholders to discuss current and upcoming legislative proposals in the European Parliament.
In the EUFORES Advisory Committee meetings, the non-parliamentary members of EUFORES have the opportunity to exchange views with the EUFORES presidents and other MEPs who work on the promotion of renewable energy sources.
EUFORES together with the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC) regularly organises events for the EUFORES Junior Group, consisting of MEP Assistants who work in the area of RES.
In the framework of the European Sustainable Energy Week taking place in Brussels each year, EUFORES organises Parliamentary Workshops in the European Parliament.
